Addiction Recovery
Recovery is defined as: “the act of regaining or returning toward a normal or healthy state.” Merriam Webster’s Medical Dictionary
So is it rest that leads to return to a normal or healthy state?
Is it just getting the toxins out of the body?
Doubtful – isn’t it?
One would have to assume that one was not in a normal or healthy state when they first started to take drugs or they would not have felt the compulsion to take them in the first place. Logical?
So any successful program would have to put one in a new higher condition. Correct?
It encompassed having the tools to deal with life that one did not have before.
Only then do you have a program where the majority do not come back to and who can go out into life and start anew and make their way drug free.
See

for an outline of such a program.
